Introductory caveat

This aim of site is provide information about the history, forebears and families of Henry Pearson McNamara (b 1910 Bishop Aukland, County Durham, d 2002 Harrogate) and his wife née Alice Muriel Stringer (b 1910 Lanchester, County Durham, d 2002 Harrogate). It will also, eventually,  provide the opportunity for current family members to add to and enlarge upon the information collected thus far and to provide news about  family members.

At present the site is under development. Most of the narrative content has been added to the site but there is a great deal of historical evidence and supporting pictures, maps, diagrams and so on to be added.

The significant majority of the illustrative and supplementary material will enlarge if ‘clicked’.
